I seriously love that song. 

I had a major Lionel Richie era when I was 18.

It may or may not have been due to a boyfriend at the time.

Im just sayin'....

I used to pop in his greatest hits album

and literally listen to it....

Anyhoo - 

I have been listening to alot of music lately.

Mr Richie has been an attendee.....

 As well as my BFF Stevie Nicks and the rest of the Fleetwood Clan....

(they are my all-time favorite band)

Heart, Metallica, Journey, Stone Temple Pilots, Billy Joel, Michael Buble, Earth Wind & Fire.....

Yeah...Im all over the musical map. 

Cleaning and packing music.

Music that motivates and is fun. 

I need fun. 

and motivation.

Remodeling/Moving is still underway at full steam ahead.

(this was the chaos in the kitchen over the holidays!) 

The remodeling part is way over schedule.....

(we were already supposed to be in the new house!)

But i cant get mad at my contractor

cuz he is pretty darn cute.

(and I have to sleep next to him everynite!) 

Poor guy is workin 2 jobs.

One of them he gets paid for.

The other one.....

well....you can say his "boss" is a beotch sometimes.

She pays him in food and hugs and kissies.

(on the good days anyways!)

Well, I figured I would give you some shots of what is in store

While sanding the ceiling in our dining room - 

imagine our pleasant surprise of finding CEDAR T&G boards

instead of pine! 

(you can see the raw sanded cedar on the left compared to the original  laquered on the right)

I tell the Stig that allllll the time.

For some reason he doesnt quite believe me.

Especially when I am fretting over 5 shades of gray paint. 

He doesnt understand why we can't paint everything white.

Sure...

sounds good.

Does he understand that there are 100's of whites out there?! 

 Oh, and I just wanted to give a shout out to my gal Sarah.

She has been worried about me since I have been M.I.A. on here.

She's got remodel on the brain too!
