While perusing one of my favorite websites
{if you havn't heard of it then get your booty over there NOW!}
I came across this print from PhotograBee.
It is titled "The Road Less Traveled..."
with a quote in the description
from Robert Frost:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Two roads diverged in a wood, and I —
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference."
-Robert Frost
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This quote and photo really struck deep inside of me.
You see.....
I once took a road less traveled.
Actually, at times it felt as if
there had never been any other travelers on this road.
It was a road that looks similar to the beautiful picture above.
Gray
Unclear
Barren
Barren
Not knowing or seeing what lies past the road
Scared
Alone
Doubtful
Scared
Alone
Doubtful
One day I will share my thoughts and memories
of that road that I took.
But you see
after that long, dark journey.......
the one in which I chose
one fork in the road,
over the other fork....
I emerged a different person
I found myself.
Found who "I" really was.
And eventually.....
led me down another road.....
that led me to the person
that I was always meant to be with.....
Be strong.
Be courageous.
Be unafraid.....
Be YOU.
"The greatest mistake you can make in life is to be continually fearing you will make one."
~Elbert Hubbard, The Note Book, 1927

those photographs you found certainly convey your sentiments here. I too have taken that road...and found the person I belong with. funny how we have to get through the unclear part for everything to eventually make sense ;)
Amen sister, been there, done that and will never go back!! I wish at times it didn't have to be that way, but as they say what doesn't kill you makes you stronger! xoxoxo
Profound my friend!
I too have taken the hard road and I too found the love of my life on that path.

Thank you so much for sharing!
