"It's me..... "
"It's me"!
yikes.
I am going to blame my lack of blogging
{sorry!}
to the fact that I am so old now that I forgot!?
Teehee...
What were we talking about?
;)
Anyhoooooo -
I have been pretty swamped over here.
Birthday,
Moving out,
Moving in,
Purging,
Organizing.....
I don't want to scare you, but if I took a picture of my side yard right now,
you would seriously think it was from an episode of American Pickers or worse yet Hoarders....
via google
(NOT my house, I swear!)
Of course I am exaggerating....
or am I?
I honestly am overwhelmed right now.
Which is unusual for me.
We have moved 11 times in 15 years, and all of our "stuff"
has finally caught up to us.....
** I threw a family/friend "estate sale"
in which I gave away my "good" stuff to people I love for FREE
(yep, there is my favorite F word again)
** Donated a bunch of useful clothing, toys and household items to charity
(still good stuff-promise!)
** And of course, CHUCKED a buncha crap in the garbage.
So excuse me as I step our for a bit -
it is
kinda
sorta
alot
of work to move from 2800 sq ft to 1500 sq ft!!
not to mention a backyard with absolutely NO landscaping....
Not even a concrete patio!
Its horrendous I tell you.
This is a hard thing for the Stig and I.
We love gardening and hanging out in our backyard....
That is why it is one of the first things that we are going to tackle
now that we are all settled in to the new house.
Oh, but on a good note, the Stig just bought me Peonies!!
I have wanted my own peony bushes for-ev-er.
And now I will have the heavenly scent waft in thru
my kitchen windows every morning.
*sigh*
So, ya wondering where the Stig picked up these beauties?!?
Well, where else can you buy wine, car oil, trash bags, Jager, eggs and peony bushes??
(yes, that is what was in our shopping cart!)
COSTCO of course!
Gosh darn I love Costco......
We are going to tackle some of the small projects around the house
this weekend:
work on the kitchen pantry, start building a stone backyard "patio" (since we have no patio concrete!),
tile guest bathroom,
oh, and did I forget to mention - go to a wedding too!
Are you tired from reading all of that?
Cuz I am ....pheeww!
Happy Friday, and have a wonderful weekend!
