Un-hooking the Trailer

You have heard that saying before, right?

"Unhook the trailer, Dan"

We say it jokingly

to our fellow teammates

when it appears that they are:

"draggin' ass"

"lookin a little slow"

"carrying a little extra baggage"

to put it bluntly.....

s  l  o  w  as shiiiiiit.

That is me this week.

{can i get a big ol UGGHHH!}

Its the curse of being on a long vacation

(but oh was it so heavenly at the lake for a week!)

When its time to get back to REALITY

you know what im talkin bout

Anyhoo

it is really hard to get back in the reality groove

~laundry~

~waking kids up~

{who am I kidding - waking myself up!}

~unpacking~

{I should probably get on that, huh?}

~re-stocking the fridge~

{poor Bertha was bare!}

~going back to work~

just getting back on a "regular" schedule

is kickin my boo-tay

and of course we have a packed weekend ahead of us:

bbq dinner tonite with in-laws and family

(making my "salad")

a surprise baby shower tomorrow

(yay Lis!)

softball on sunday

(in 105 degree weather)

but...

im really

kinda

sorta

extremely bummed

about my

Sunday plans

they cancelled the three day event

(originally Fri-Sun)

 

and made it into a 2 day

(Fri & Sat)

 

  my O.G plan was to go on my "free" day - Sunday :( 

 

soooo....

if you are free this weekend

(which i am unfortunately NOT!)

 

then get over there!
